Coronavirus – Hazelhill Family Practice advice for ALL patients

Given the evolving coronavirus situation, Hazelhill Family Practice is implementing a new set of procedures to help protect the health of our patients, in line with best practice.

Anyone wishing to make an appointment (regarding any health related issue) is advised to make an appointment via our website or by phoning the surgery ahead of your visit (call 094 9630091 or 094 9632170). We will then confirm an appropriate time to visit.

We are also asking all patients to briefly alert reception that they have arrived for their scheduled appointment and to then remain outside the medical centre until they are called for their appointment.

While Hazelhill Family Practice is currently unaware of any cases of coronavirus/ COVID-19 among our patients, this process is being adopted to ensure the strongest protection for our patients to and minimise the risk associated with congregating in close proximity to others.

What do to if you suspect you have the coronavirus?

Anyone who suspects they may have contracted the coronavirus is strongly urged to phone the practice from home and to avoid attending in person. We will then advise them on the next steps to take, including how they can be tested.

  • Call the Hazelhill Family Practice on 094 9630091 or 094 9632170.
  • Do not attend the practice in person as this risks increasing the potential spread of the virus.
  • You will be asked to provide your symptoms as well as other questions which will help inform the likelihood of having contracted the virus.
  • Further advice will then be provided.

We thank our patients for their patience and co-operation at this time and through this unprecedented situation.
